On 4th July, American come together and celebrate Independence day. Most Americans enjoy these days with their family and friends at the beach, park, nightclubs, some people celebrate this day by lighting firecrackers, barbecues etc.

History of Independence Day (United States):

You must have read this in your school days also. We do not know about our rights and freedom, due to which we cannot enjoy our freedom. The story of America's Independence is very fascinating as well as connected with many historical twists.

From 1763 to 1773, the colonies and the British Parliament imposed strict taxes and laws on the people. Without the care of the people, very heavy taxes were imposed on essential goods like tea and sugar till the British crown could profit.

In 1764, "Taxing is an atrocity without any explanation. This thing spread in the form of outrage throughout the colonies.

In 1765, the Quartering Act was made, ordering the British soldiers that they could go to the houses of the colonists and ask them for food and they could also ask them to build a house. The soldiers were given this right by King George that they can enter anyone's house.

On March 5, 1770, there would be a street fight between the colonists and the British soldiers in Boston. British soldiers started firing. In this fight, 47-year-old Crispus was killed along with three colonists. Crispus Attucks was Black American.

In 1773, the Boston party was furious when colonists disguised as Mohican Indians raided a British ship. And to avoid heavy tax, the tea board was thrown down. When the Patriots fought British troops in 1775, the intentions to liberate America were strengthened.

In 1776, all colonists for independence from Britain, representatives of the wealthy in Philadelphia, prepared a document demanding their rights. This demand was accepted on July 4, 1776.

At that time, white ladies had to take the permission of the son, husband, to become the owner of the property.
